To manage all of their Drum Series modules, Erica Synths serve up the specialised Drum Mixer. Why would you need this unit as well as all the other mixer modules stacked in your Eurorack, you ask? Well this mixer is a dedicated drum specialist, so it supplies extra headroom alongside a more drum-focussed compressor. On top of that, the first three inputs also feature an AUX out, so you can send your claps, your hi-hat and maybe your crash through a reverb module, leaving your kick and snare nice and dry. Of course, you could do all of this manually, but that would involve a pretty large (and therefore expensive) stack of modules plus a mass of cables. Basically, the Erica Synths Drum Series Drum Mixer is a Eurorack Module of convenience.
